Marauders Fundraising

The WCYF Marauders as an organization is able to keep fees low in relation to other teams in the DVYFC due to the many types of fundraising activities conducted throughout the year.  While keeping our fees low for 2004 we are also providing new uniforms and customized cheer bags for all our cheerleaders and mascots and newly painted and reconditioned helmets for our football players.

Sponsors

One of our most important and valued area of fundraising is the generous donations of our sponsors.  Many of our sponsors are parents who are involved with our program while others have no children in the program but sponsor the Marauders to show their support for youth activities.

Please check out our SPONSORS page for a current list of sponsors, and if possible please be sure to patronize their businesses or thank them for their support.  Your company may be willing to become a sponsor, or may have a matching gifts program.  The Marauders will help you complete the paperwork to help your company become a Marauders Sponsor.

In addition to the sponsorships already received, the Marauders have a variety of items in this year’s budget that are needed and a donation to offset the cost of these items would help the program immensely.  Individuals, families or businesses that provide these items will be recognized on our Sponsors page as well as below –

Cookie-Dough Fundraiser

The Cookie-Dough Fundraiser is our only mandatory fundraiser for the year.  The sale of 20 units of pretzel, pizza or cookie dough and key lime pie by our football and cheer athletes brings in over $17,000 in profit for the Marauders.  If your athlete sells more, the Marauders make more as we keep 40% of the cost of the product.

This year our fundraiser partner is providing prizes for each level of sales. For those who finish their sales before August 10, the Marauders are funding $100 for the lucky winner whose name is pulled from the hat.  Additionally, all athletes who sell 100+ units will receive a $100 cash award and we appreciate your support on the fundraiser. 

Game Program Advertising Sponsorship

We have five home games this year and for each game a unique Marauders program is provided.  A lot of effort goes into this program, as we list not only our team’s names but the names of the opposing team’s players, cheerleaders and coaches as well.  We recognize our sponsors in the program.

We would like to find sponsors for our game programs as each one costs about $250 to produce.  If you are interested in sponsoring a game program you will be able to place a full page ad inside the front cover and your donation will be announced during each game.  And as a sponsor, you will receive all the benefits of sponsorship, such as your ad in the annual yearbook, listing in all game programs and on the website.  Please contact us at PRESIDENT@WCYFMARAUDERS.COM or call our hotline (925) 941-4745 if you would like to sponsor any of our game programs.

Yearbook Personal Ads

We have been selling yearbook adds for a number of years, the kids just love seeing themselves in the yearbook!

We can provide your choice of several different templates of football and cheer related scenes or you can design your own.  We will set the type with your personalized message or you can have it hand-written if you prefer.  We can even include photos.

If you are interested in placing a Personal Ad this year we will be selling space at practices later in the year and at home games.
